The House League is one of our two options for young climbers who wish to invest more time in climbing.
League programs will set long term training goals, and also give optional opportunities to participate within the competition circuit
Practices range from 2 to 3 times a week. House Juniors and Seniors will also have a joint practice day on Sundays so athletes will have the opportunity to share their experience and learn in a larger group setting.
The pre-competitive team brings together youth climbers who are looking to advance their skills as well as begin to learn the basics of training in a fun and engaging way.
Climbers will have the opportunity to test themselves competing in the local competition circuit. During practice coaches will aim to develop the fundamentals through creative exercises, as well as provide coaching on technical skills and engaging the athletes with team activities.
This program runs from September to June, pausing over winter and spring break.
Registration for this group must be done for the entire year. If you would like more information, please contact Kai Ohki at precomp@boulderhouse.ca

2 coaches with strong competitive climbing backgrounds will be present at practice to provide the best opportunities for growth as a team.
While this is a competitive team the priority is still to encourage a healthy relationship with sport, and develop a broad range of athletic skills. Competition and pushing the limits is encouraged - attending competitions is optional for an additional fee.
